Starting today, July 3, users with Airtel, Jio, and Vi mobile connections will face a significant increase in their mobile bills. These private telecom giants are set to hike their monthly, quarterly, and annual recharge plans by up to 25 percent in a move to boost revenue. This move is likely to impact millions of customers across India who rely on these networks for their mobile connectivity needs.

However, amid the price hike by private telecom companies, the state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is continuing to offer its mobile recharge plans at old prices, which are now comparatively cheaper than the revised plan prices by Jio, Airtel, and Vi.

BSNL continues to offer affordable mobile plans

BSNL is currently offering its mobile plans for both existing users and those planning to switch from their current networks. Let’s take a detailed look at the available plans:

BSNL Rs 107 plan: This plan is one of BSNL’s most affordable options, which comes with 35 days of validity. It offers 3GB of 4G data and 200 minutes of voice calls.

BSNL Rs 108 plan: For new users, BSNL offers a First Recharge Coupon (FRC) Plan 108, priced at Rs 108. This plan includes unlimited calls and 1GB of 4G data per day for 28 days.

BSNL Rs 197 plan: For users seeking longer validity, BSNL’s Plan 197 offers 70 days of service with 2GB of 4G data, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day for the first 18 days.

BSNL Rs 199 plan: This plan will offer unlimited calls for the entire 70 days along with 2GB of data.

BSNL mobile long-term plans

BSNL Rs 397 plan: BSNL also offers a Rs 397 plan usually during festival season which offers a total validity of 150 days. This plan includes truly unlimited calls and 2GB of 4G data for the first 30 days.

BSNL Rs 797 plan: This plan offers a longer validity of 300 days with unlimited calls and 2GB of data for the first 60 days.

BSNL Rs 1999 plan: For users seeking an annual recharge plan, BSNL’s Rs 1999 plan provides 365 days of validity, 600GB of 4G data, unlimited calls, BSNL tunes, and subscriptions to various third-party services. This plan ensures users have consistent and affordable mobile service for an entire year.

However, it is important to note that you might see a slight difference in the prices based on the region and state. While BSNL offers services in most parts of India, its 4G connectivity can be less reliable compared to the 5G services provided by Airtel, Jio, and Vi. Additionally, BSNL has different plan vouchers for regions like the North East, Jammu and Kashmir, and Assam.
