Motorola Razr 50 Ultra: Specs, features

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It comes with a bigger cover screen with slimmer bezels compared to its predecessor, which is likely to give a better experience in terms of quick content consumption on the outer screen. The pOLED panel has support for 1080p resolution, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and HDR10+ support. The display’s refresh rate gets adjusted between 1Hz-165Hz. One will be able to watch videos, check navigation details, check selfies while capturing them and do other things on the outer screen when the flip is in the folded state.

When unfolded, you are greeted with a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED screen, which is bigger than what traditional phones are offering to users. The inside screen has a better 120 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut. The refresh rate is the same as the cover screen. The inside panel has 360Hz of touch sample rate and 3000nits of peak brightness. On the front is a 32-megapixel sensor as well.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra has received a major upgrade in terms of camera. The new version has a 50-megapixel f/1.7 main camera and a 50-megapixel f/2.0 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. Under the hood, there is a 4,000mAh battery, which is slightly bigger than the 3,800mAh battery seen on the previous version. It has support for faster 45W fast charging tech, which is higher than 30W wired charging on the Razr 40 Ultra model. Motorola has also given support for 15W wireless charging. The device is IPX8 water-resistant, which the older version didn’t offer.
