After a disappointing loss to the Bulldogs last round the Cronulla Sharks will be hoping to get their season back on track when they host the Gold Coast Titans in Round 18

Halfback Nicho Hynes missed two sideline conversions and a point blank field goal in Cronulla’s one-point loss to the Bulldogs.

The 2022 Dally M Medal winner will need to put his poor performance behind him and guide the Sharks to a much-needed victory against the Titans.

Des Hasler’s side will be full of confidence after a club-record 66-6 victory over the Warriors in Round 16.

The Titans showed their true potential against the Warriors but will be without Jayden Campbell (hand), AJ Brimson (groin) and Philip Sami (calf) against the Sharks.

Those three are crucial to the way Des Hasler’s side play and their absences will be massive for a Titans side searching to keep their slim finals chances alive.

Tanah Boydwill start at five-eighth for Brimson, whileJacob Alick-Wienckce goes into the centres for Sami.
